SMILESSKIDDO
Brand Strategy
Brand Identity
Visual Design
Kids toys should feel like a party, but shop like a system. For SMILESSKIDDO, I built a modular identity, rounded custom type, bold color blocks, and friendly characters so packaging, UI, and ads stay playful, and instantly readable.

Challenges
Toy brands have one job and it’s brutal, win the kid in 0.2 seconds, and still earn the parent’s trust. SMILESSKIDDO needed to be loud without being messy, consistent without feeling “corporate daycare,” and flexible enough to work on everything from tiny tags to big, “wow that’s cute” billboards.
Solutions
Built a smiling wordmark and a stacked badge lockup, so the brand has a “main character” and a fast-read backup
Drew custom rounded glyphs and simple icon shapes, to keep the vibe soft, friendly, and readable at small sizes
Set a block-based grid system with bold color rules, so layouts stay clean even when the palette gets loud
Created a mini cast of friendly characters and doodle elements, for quick storytelling across packaging and social
Defined photo and motion usage, so the system works in static, in UI screens, and in punchy social formats
Outcome
The brand started showing up like it knows exactly who it is, playful, bright, and weird in the good way. The team can now ship consistent packaging and content fast, without re-inventing the wheel every time they need a new post, a new label, or a new “launch in 2 days” graphic.
